North American K-9 Services, LLC works with its partners in Europe to select the finest working dogs from the Republic of Czech, Slovakia and Hungary. North American K-9 Services Police Service Dogs are thoroughly tested to meet our high standards. Each K9 is given an extensive physical exam by a Veterinarian before they are shipped to us in the United States.

North American K-9 Services, LLC was organized by Doug Clark. Doug is a police officer with the City of Middletown in Middletown, Connecticut. Doug’s life long passion for dogs fueled his drive to become a K9 handler.

 

Doug attended and graduated from the 118th Connecticut State Police Canine Training Class. Where he became a certified Patrol Dog K9 Handler. During the 15-week physically demanding K9 class, Doug learned that obedience is the foundation of every K9 training program. Doug learned that it is best to use positive motivation to train dogs than to use negative compulsion.
