North American K9 Services, LLC provides two levels of trained Family Protection Dogs featuring German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois’.

 

We begin the training process with imported dogs that have excellent genetics and the drive and temperament necessary to become a top notch work dog.

 

Once a client selects a dog, the dog is put through an extensive training process which is completely documented so the client can review daily or weekly the training process of their future companion.

 

During the training process, we ensure that your dog will be obedient and socialized with the additional tools of protection skills so that not only will you have a loyal pet that responds well to you, your family and friends but will have the skills, training and experience to address any perceived threats.

Family Protection Dog Training Packages:

North American K9 Services, LLC, we provide two packages to meet your needs. In each package, you will receive documented training detailing how your dog was trained while he was at North American K9 Services, LLC. You will also receive an extensive medical and performance guarantee. Our mission is to provide you with a superior dog and to achieve your complete satisfaction.

 

Both packages include an in person-handler instruction course and we are available for phone consultation (free of charge) for the life of the dog. In addition, we offer yearly refresher training free at our location.

 

NAK9 Family Protection Dog:

The Family Protection Dog is a fully obedient German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois dog that will respond to your commands both verbal and non verbal. Your dog will be obedient on leash and off leash, have an excellent temperament and will be social with your family members and friends. You will be able to control your dog from a distance, stay and down him from a distance and call him to your side from a distance. Your dog will have very limited protection training but will serve as a deterrent to those that want to harm you and your family or enter you home illegally. This package includes a two-day in person handler instruction course.

 

An NAK9 Family Protection Dog will be capable of the following:

  • Sit, Stay, Down and Heel using both verbal and non verbal commands
  • Sit, Stay, Down using either verbal or non verbal commands at a distance
  • Ability to negotiate obstacles
  • Ability to apprehend a suspect on command and break on command
  • And of course your dog will be house trained

This package is an economical way to receive a highly trained dog that has limited protection abilities. We learned that some families had other expenses or obligations that prevented them from purchasing an NAK9 Elite Protection Dog but if a more economical package were offered they would be interested. This package addresses this issue. Having a highly trained dog eliminates the turmoil an untrained annoying dog can create for a family. Why pay a trainer thousands of dollars and waste your time when you can get a dog that is already trained?

 

NAK9 Elite Protection Dog:

The NAK9 Elite Protection Dog has all of the training that the NAK9 Family Protection Dog has and much more. This dog will be an excellent companion, a loyal protector with super manners able to integrate into your lifestyle with ease. What you have with this dog is a four legged body guard that will lay his life down for you without hesitation. Many believe their untrained dogs will respond to a serious threat but with this dog, we guarantee he will respond.

 

This dog will have every aspect of handler protection in addition to the obedience training and fundamental bite work. Your dog can be commanded to watch when you are confronted with a suspicious person(s). Your dog will begin to bark and become aggressive toward those suspicious person(s) alleviating a possible unwanted situation. Your dog will deploy to protect you if you’re attacked in a bite and hold manner. Your dog will break on command and return to your side in a watch position. Your dog can be sent to apprehend a fleeing felon at a distance, take him down and bite and hold him detaining him allowing you to call the authorities to respond and take the criminal into custody. Your dog may be sent into a wooded area to search for a fleeing felon apprehend that felon in a bite and hold manner. Your dog can also be sent into your home to conduct a building search and will alert by barking if a person is hidden in a location the dog cannot get to or if the dog can reach the person the dog will bite and hold that person while you call the authorities to respond to your residence to apprehend this person. Your dog will protect your home and property such as your vehicle. Should someone enter your vehicle in an attempt to carjack your vehicle, this dog will deploy to protect you. This package includes a three or four day in person handler instruction course.

 

An NAK9 Elite Protection Dog will be capable of the following:

  • Sit, Stay, Down and Heel using both verbal and non verbal commands
  • Sit, Stay, Down using either verbal or non verbal commands at a distance
  • Ability to negotiate obstacles
  • Handler protection
  • Building Search
  • Scouts in open or wooded areas
